Spring is in full swing…and Lionel is going to be busier than the bees!

The honey flow in the Redlands has been fairly quiet this past few weeks. But don’t worry, the bees are always left with enough stores to last them months on their hives.   Although they haven’t been bringing much nectar home, they’ve been busy in the brood nest building up their colony to awesome strengths….ready for the flow.

If the bees are ready for the flow, then Lionel has to be ready to manage the volume of honey that can ‘pour in’ any given week.  Because of this, Malieta Honey now has twice monthly retail order cut-off times in effect.

Your order must be in by 7pm the 14th to be available 2 business days later.

Your order must be in by 7pm the 28th to be available 2 business days later.

This is simply to ensure that customers get the freshest batch and on a predictable time frame.  It will also streamline getting nectar from the flower of that Ironbark to Malieta Honey on your spoon!

Any questions, just ask!

Springtime regards,

Lionel and the pesky bees.
